Play’n GO finishes the year strongly
The addition of West Virginia to the jurisdictions where Play’n GO slots can be offered underlines Play’n GO’s commitment to growth in North America. Several key US-based hires have also backed up the company’s growth.
Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO, said:
“West Virginia’s regulated iGaming marketplace is thriving and it’s brilliant to be able to finish the year strongly by acquiring a license to serve our games to players in the state.”
The company remains optimistic about its future success in the US. As Olson commented:
“Players are different in of their game preferences in every jurisdiction, of course, but the common thread that runs through all players is that the quality content rises to the top – players want to be entertained first and foremost. Our games are proving to be a main vehicle of retention for many operators due to their inherent entertainment value.”
While delivering new entertainment every week, Play’n GO planned to release more than 50 online slots in 2022.
Olsson explained:
“Play’n GO delivers new entertainment each and every week to players in regulated markets right across the world, and I’m sure that players in West Virginia will enjoy the full Play’n GO portfolio that is unmatched in the industry.”
Play’n GO up and running in Michigan and New Jersey
Play’n GO’s first license in the USA was awarded in Michigan. The company was granted its first Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier License in July 2022.
Play’n GO CEO, Johan Törnqvist, announced the move as a “landmark moment” for the company.
The supplier brought its games to the Wolverine state earlier this month, thanks to the agreement with BetMGM.
Play’n GO games went live in New Jersey on Sept. 7 via a partnership with PokerStars. As announced on Oct. 31, 2022, the company partnered with BetMGM.
